Data Scientist

In this capacity, you will participate in the definition of new analytics capabilities able to provide our customers with the information they need to make proper decisions to support our customers in operating the internet of things (IoT). In addition, you will help find the appropriate machine learning / data mining algorithms to answer these questions. Finally, you will be responsible for implementing this into the product and making it available to our customers.

Qualified candidates will have an in-depth knowledge of most common machine learning techniques and their application. You will also understand the limitations of these algorithms and how to tweak them or derive from them to achieve similar results at large-scale.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, or equivalent fields
  • Applied Machine Learning experience (regression analysis, time series, probabilistic models, supervised classification and unsupervised learning)
  • Strong mathematical background (linear algebra, calculus, probability and statistics)

La technologie

Le rôle

L’équipe Data Science à C3 IoT est responsable de la conception, de la mise en production et du suivi des solutions analytiques pour nos applications.

 

  • Participer à la définition de nouvelles fonctionnalités analytiques capables de répondre aux problèmes de nos clients ou d’augmenter la valorisation des données disponibles
  • Concevoir et valider en collaboration avec les clients une solution analytique en faisant éventuellement appel à des techniques de Machine Learning et de Data Mining
  • Assurer l’implémentation de ces algorithmes dans la suite de produits C3 IoT
  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les équipes de C3 IoT (Produits, Application, Plateforme, Services) pour construire les meilleures solutions possibles pour nos clients
  • Diriger des projets au sein de C3 IoT et avec nos clients, indépendamment et en équipe

 

Votre profil :

Les candidats sélectionnés auront une connaissance approfondie des techniques Machine Learning les plus courantes et de leurs applications. Ils comprendront également les limites de ces algorithmes et comment les modifier ou les dériver pour obtenir des résultats similaires à plus grande échelle.

 

  • Diplôme d’ingénieur, Master ou Doctorat en informatique, mathématiques ou équivalent.
  • Connaissance approfondie des techniques de Machine Learning (régression, séries temporelles, modèles probabilistes, apprentissage supervisé et non-supervisé, optimisation, deep learning)

This Chief Information Security Officer will have visibility with and accountability to our customers, executive leadership team, and Board of Directors.

Product responsibilities include partnering with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Chief Product Officer (CPO), architecture, engineering and operations teams to ensure C3 IoT continues to incorporate appropriate security measures and features within its offerings.

Corporate responsibilities include the development and the adoption of corporate IT security best practices, overseeing and assuring timely completion of risk assessments, certifications, monitoring, protection of information assets, and auditing of our information security across C3IoT.

The ability to maintain a balance between enablement and control while remaining agile, open, productive, and secure will define your success.  Exceptional business and communications skills are key, along with a deep technical background in application and operations security.

Responsibilities

  • Define, publish, and execute the overall corporate IT security strategy with the buy-in from operational and business stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement processes and tools to ensure C3 IoT is securing its internal and external systems.
  • Apply deep process and technical domain expertise within security operations as it relates to threat prevention, detection, and mitigation.
  • Chair the C3 IoT Security Council, bringing together key security and risk stakeholders to develop and review enterprise security solutions, policies, and risk strategy.
  • Ensure the product organization adheres to an overall product security strategy that enables C3 IoT product and cloud services to be both secure and compliant.
  • Partner with the sales organization to assure that C3 IoT security practices and policies meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Partner with the legal organization to define and execute a risk and compliance roadmap with a governance structure.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a chief information security officer or as a senior information security executive in a larger organization
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a medium to large sized IT Organization, preferably with enterprise software product companies
  • 10 years of relevant work experience across product and IT organizations, including cybersecurity incident response, disaster recovery and business continuity management, identity and access management, information privacy, security operations center management and security architecture
  • Proven track record implementing risk management programs and building collaborative working relationships across functions
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing programs to secure and maintain systems consistent with principles embodied in ISO, SOX, NIST, SSAE, HIPAA, PCI, FedRAMP, FISMA, GovCloud, FIPS, and comparable US and international standards and frameworks
  • Must be able to explain complex systems and technical topics to others who may have minimal technical knowledge using oral, written and visual presentations
  • Experience in overseeing business continuity planning / disaster recovery (BCP/DR) programs
  • Strong knowledge of IT security concepts including penetration / vulnerability assessment, role segregation, role engineering and security-centric QA
  • Relevant industry certifications

Notre plateforme et les applications développées sur celle-ci sont majoritairement écrites en Java, JavaScript et Python. Nous développons et utilisons des technologies modernes (Spark, Cassandra, PostGres, Kafka, GraphX, Torch, etc.). Le rôle

L’équipe Applications à C3 IoT est en charge du développement des modèles de données et des APIs (utilisant le C3 Type System) et de la logique applicative, notamment des algorithmes d’analyse de données (en JavaScript et Python). L’équipe crée aussi tous les outils nécessaires au développement d’applications pour nos utilisateurs (internes et externes). En proche collaboration avec les équipes Machine Learning et Data Science, nos développeurs travaillent finalement à l’intégration d’algorithmes d’apprentissage et de prédiction.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Key contributor to the daily general operations of the accounting department for assigned activities including: payroll, procurement, billing and receivables, revenue and expense recognition, general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, variance analysis, and forecasting.
  • Oversee policy and processing of full cycle procurement and accounts payable including but not limited to reviewing for compliance with company policy, proper approval authority, accuracy and appropriate classification.

  • Lead the preparation of the monthly consolidation including elimination entries.
  • Drive the preparation of Balance Sheet, P&L and Cash flow reports in accordance with GAAP and non-GAAP metrics as needed.
  • Support financial planning and analysis on the completion of monthly and quarterly Actual vs. Forecast reporting; research on actual vs forecast variances; collect/provide requested schedules for FP&A on regular basis.
  • Respond to ad-hoc analysis requests from client groups in finance and other functional areas.
  • Coordinate the preparation of schedules and reports in support of annual audit and interim reviews ensuring that all deliverables are met.
  • Identify and propose accounting solutions for new or unusual business transactions to ensure that day-to-day accounting is consistent with corporate accounting policies, procedures and GAAP.
  • Provide technical leadership in analysis, resolution and documentation of significant accounting issues, estimates, and complex financial statement disclosures.
  • Assist with research and implementation of new accounting pronouncements and reporting including the new revenue recognition and leasing standards.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous process improvements and strengthening of internal controls and drive implementation of recommendations.
  • Lead optimization of reporting functionality available from Netsuite and other Finance systems/tools.
  • Assist in implementation of new systems, upgrades and automation of accounting processes.

 Requirements

  • BS/BA in Accounting/Finance, CPA preferred. 
  • 4+ years overall accounting experience including at least 2 years Big 4 audit.
  • Combination of public accounting and Saas/software company experience preferred.
  • Strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of management. Ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Business thinker with excellent problem solving, planning, and project management skills.

Marketing Communications Manager

The Marketing Communications Manager is involved in all aspects of our marketing communications’ functions and activities including branding and corporate messaging, lead generation campaigns, industry events, and sales and marketing collateral, in order to drive aggressive revenue growth and market recognition for C3 IoT. The position requires strong marketing communications skills to deliver compelling business value messages. This is a key role that requires interfacing with all levels of the C3 IoT team.

Responsibilities:

  • Corporate Communications & Collateral Materials – Create and edit company communications including data sheets, brochures, customer success stories, advertising copy, web copy, sales presentations, and sales communications tools to showcase C3 IoT’s products and business opportunities.
    • Work closely with C3 IoT leadership on targeting, placement and communications preparedness around key programs, activities, and events
    • Develop creative, targeted promotions and lead generation programs and develop ROI calculator to measure the success of each
    • Lead copy writing and complete artwork review for marketing materials and campaigns to ensure information is accurate, compelling, and aligned with brand guidelines
  • Event Management – Work closely with appropriate internal stakeholders to develop event strategies, detailed budgets, and overall event tracker/calendar that meets the business’ needs and objectives. Coordinate with third-party agencies, event management companies and others to execute all details of an event strategy including meeting rooms, company banners/graphics, literature and handouts, giveaways, catering, team preparation, etc., Develop and implement post-show evaluation criteria and mechanism to determine the overall qualitative success of the event as well as quantitative event ROI.
  • Create and execute cost effective and successful lead generation programs/campaigns and work with sales operations to qualify them into sales opportunities.
  • Develop and facilitate communication training and tools in conjunction with appropriate leadership, managers and staff to prepare and engage C3 IoT team members in proactive outreach opportunities

 

Requirements:

To qualify for this position, an individual must possess a combination of experience and education that would likely produce the desired job outcomes. Specific requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • 3+ years of B2B marketing and communications experience. Experience in the software industry preferred.
  • Strong understanding of all marketing communication vehicles, with particular strength in content creation/writing, event management, and lead generation campaigns.

  • Develop new specs, documentation, participate in the development of technical procedures and user support guides

 Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience with system/data integration, development or implementation of enterprise and/or cloud software
  • Deep understanding of enterprise architecture and enterprise application integration
  • Proficiency in data integration/EAI technologies, such as Tibco
  • Demonstrated proficiency with JavaScript
  • Extensive experience with Unix-based operating systems
  • Experience with relational databases (any vendor)
  • Solid understanding of data modeling best practices
  • SaaS and business intelligence/analytics implementation experience is a plus
  • Engineering degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
  • Working knowledge of Agile Software development methodology
  • Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail
  • Strong analytical ability, judgment and problem analysis techniques
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross functional team

Technical Solution Architect / Architecte Solution

C3 IoT offre aux entreprises une plateforme intégrée (PaaS) pour le développement et la mise en production d’applications Big Data, de Machine Learning, et de gestion d’objets connectés. C3 IoT a aussi développé sur cette plateforme toute une famille d’applications configurables de maintenance prédictive, de détection de fraude, de CRM, de gestion d’énergie et d’optimisation de la supply chain.

La technologie

Notre plateforme et les applications développées sur celle-ci sont majoritairement écrites en Java, JavaScript et Python. Nous développons et utilisons des technologies modernes (Spark, Cassandra, PostGres, Kafka, GraphX, Torch, etc.). Au cœur de cette architecture réside notre type system : une couche d’abstraction objet d’une grande expressivité qui permet aux développeurs et data scientists de décrire leurs données, d’utiliser des fonctionnalités existantes ou d’en définir de nouvelles sans se soucier de l’infrastructure ou des services sous-jacents. Cette technologie permet à nos utilisateurs de développer et de déployer en production des applications à grande échelle en à peine quelques semaines.

Le rôle

L’équipe Services à C3 IoT est en charge de l’implémentation, du déploiement et du suivi des solutions C3 IoT chez nos clients.

En tant qu’Architecte Solution vous serez responsable de l’intégration et du déploiement de nos applications, ainsi que de la création de nouveaux outils pour automatiser ces tâches ou proposer de nouveaux services.

Ce rôle très technique requiert à la fois de bonnes capacités d’abstraction et de synthèse de la situation, mais aussi d’excellentes compétences en programmation et une attitude pragmatique pour satisfaire les besoins clients. Le candidat idéal sera finalement passionné par l’acquisition et l’analyse des données pour en extraire une valeur ajoutée pour nos clients. 

Responsabilités clés

  • Interagir directement avec les clients pour la conception et le développement de solutions complètes, incluant l’intégration des données, en accord avec des documents fonctionnels.
  • Identifier les risques techniques sur les projets, et mettre au point des solutions pour les minimiser.
  • Monitorer, débugger, améliorer et tester des solutions d’intégration complexes.
  • Développer une expertise technique de la plateforme C3 IoT et aider nos utilisateurs dans leur développement.
  • Rédiger de la documentation, des procédures techniques et des guides utilisateur.
  • Collaborer avec les différentes équipes à Paris et à Redwood City (Produits, Engineering, Operations, Services) pour créer la meilleure solution possible pour nos utilisateurs.

Votre profil

  • 5 ans d’expérience dans l’intégration de systèmes, le développement ou la mise en production de logiciel pour les entreprises (idéalement dans le Cloud)
  • Diplôme d’ingénieur, ou diplôme universitaire en Informatique, Génie logiciel ou équivalent
  • Bonnes connaissances de JavaScript, des systèmes Unix, et d’au moins une base de données relationnelle
  • Maîtrise des technologies d’intégration et d’ETL
  • Bonne compréhension des principes de déploiement dans le Cloud, expérience professionnelle appréciée
  • Excellent niveau de communication orale et écrite en français et en anglais
  • Excellente organisation, fiabilité et attention aux détails
  • Bonne capacité d’analyse et de résolution des problèmes
  • Curiosité et adaptabilité (nouveaux domaines, nouvelles technologies) et volonté de partager son expérience nos utilisateurs (internes ou externes)
  • Expérience d’implémentation de solutions SaaS, d’analyse de données ou de Business Intelligence appréciée
